BASIC MANNERS

Our introductory Manners course is designed to teach your dog all the basic skills to be a well rounded, focused, and compliant household member and canine citizen. 

ABOUT CLASS

  • For dogs 18 weeks of age and older, or graduates of our Puppy Foundations class

  • Classes are held for 4 weeks / 4 lessons 

  • Lessons are approximately 45 mins each

  • Maximum of 5 participants (we are going down to 4 per class in 2024 for a semi-private experience!)

MANNERS I:

This 4 week class is the perfect introduction to obedience and manner training. As part of the course we cover:
 

  • Name Recognition and Prolonged Focus 

  • Touch / Target Training 

  • Sit, Down, Stand 

  • Recall / Coming When Called

  • Stay!

  • Loose Lead Walking 

  • Polite Greetings & Jumping 

  • Distraction work 

  •  And More!

Dogs must be up-to-date on Distemper, Rabies, and Bordatella Vaccines to participate. Not suitable for dog with a history of aggression, extreme fear or anxiety. No refunds, substitutions, or make-up lessons offered. Feel free to have a friend or family member join if you can't make it!
