PRIVATE TRAINING AGREEMENT
CONTENT
All information and materials acquired during services including: handouts, training methodology, lesson plans, and supplemental material are proprietary property of K9OLOGY LLC and is not to be shared with any third parties. The client gives the full right to edit, publish and distribute any photographs or video footage taken during training activities.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS

Full payment in US dollars is due within 72 hours of invoicing in order to secure a booking. We cannot reserve your appointments or begin services until a program is purchased in full.

By submitting payment, owner agrees to commit to the full number of training lessons for the program purchased.

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. Any cancellations are the sole liability of the owner.
POSTPONEMENTS AND RESCHEDULING

24 hour notice by phone/voicemail or email must be given for any postponements or scheduling conflicts.

If we do not receive notice more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, client will be charged a fee or deduct the equivalent from a multi-lesson package.

Postponement limits apply! Three (3) and five (5) lesson programs allow for up to one rescheduled lesson. Eight (8) and twelve (12) lesson programs allow for up to two rescheduled appointments.
TARDINESS

Owners agree to arrive on time for their scheduled lesson. Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of the start of your scheduled appointment will result in a loss of lesson.

Repeated tardiness will result in a total loss of service and dismissal from the program, forfeit by the client.
NO-SHOWS

Failure to attend a lesson without notice prior of the scheduled appointment will be charged a fee or incur a deduction from a multi lesson package.

EMERGENCIES
In the event of an emergency please make contact as soon as possible so we can discuss alternate arrangements on a case by case basis. Failure to do so may result in loss of service. Emergencies include: sudden illness or death of a family member or pet, COVID-19 exposure, or local/state/national emergencies. All other circumstances will be assessed on a case by case basis.
PROGRAM EXPIRATION
Multi-lesson programs are subject to expiration (extensions may be added, and must be noted, on a case by case basis). In the event of expiration, services will be discontinued and may not be rendered.

Three (3) Lessons must be completed within 5 weeks of first lesson

Five (5) Lessons must be completed within 8 weeks of first lesson

Eight (8) Lessons must be completed within 12 weeks of first lesson

Twelve (12) Lessons must be completed within 16 weeks of first lesson
HEALTH

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is current on vaccinations.

Current Rabies and Distemper vaccines are required for dogs 16 weeks of age and older.

K9ology LLC holds no liability for illness due to potentially transferable diseases.

If a dog seems ill prior to a scheduled lesson, the client must contact the trainer to assess whether the pet is eligible to partake in training.
LIABILITY

K9ology LLC management, at their discretion, may discontinue services if they perceive a hazard or threat of any nature to any animal, individual or object.

K9ology LLC may refuse services to an owner or animal which is aggressive, hostile, not healthy, or does not seem suitable for the services provided.

The client agrees to indemnify and hold K9ology LLC, and all locations harmless from all liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person, animal, or property during or after training activities.

The client understands that they are responsible for their dog(s) and property at all times.

All behavioral advice and suggestions are made for the improvement of the dog, however no absolute result or guarantee can be given due to the malleable nature of behavior.

Clients who routinely fail to execute maintenance training (homework), or otherwise hinder the progress of training, may be subject to loss of service.
